CRA RECEIVES 768 COMPLAINTS IN SEVEN MONTHS

Amal Salem al-Hinnawi, Director of Consumer Affairs at the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA), unveiled the success of CRA this year in settling most complaints received through the entity’s official channels regarding telecommunication services. CRA received about 768 complaints in the past seven months, 431 of which met the outlined terms.

Al Hinnawi said: The total number of complaints received by CRA from January to July 2017 reached 768, through the entity’s official channels for complaint registration, namely the consumer affairs hotline (103), Arsel mobile app, Twitter account @CRAqatar, and the complaints were mostly about service cuts, inaccurate bills and additional costs services.
