Bahrain King Meets British Foreign Secretary

Manama, – King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on Friday met British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, currently on a visit to Bahrain to take part in the 12th edition of Manama Dialogue.

The meeting reviewed bilateral ties between the two countries and mutual cooperation on all fronts and means of boosting it.

The king stressed the need to enhance bilateral cooperation and coordination on current issues so as to serve their common interests, commending the outcomes of the recent Gulf-British summit, which, he added, would contribute to further consolidate ties and strategic interests between the GCC states and the United Kingdom at all levels.
