All assumptions behind plane crash possible — Al-Sisi

CAIRO, May 22 (KUNA) — Egypt’s President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi stressed on Sunday that all hypotheses behind the crash of EgyptAir flight MS804 into the Mediterranean Sea were possible.
In a speech while inaugurating some development projects in Damietta governorate, Al-Sisi said all State’s institutions dealt with the crisis in a proper manner.
He indicated that rescue teams of air forces were instructed to move quickly to the possible scene of the incident to search for plane and save passengers as much as possible. Available data was issued continuously, he confirmed.
He expressed his sincere condolences to the victims’ families of both Egypt and foreign countries.
Al-Sisi voiced his gratitude to all countries which supported efforts of search and rescue for the ill-fated plane, and recovery of its wreckage and human remains. Search equipment moved today to the site of the incident in a bid to recover the two black boxes of the doomed plane, he noted.
He referred that public prosecutor, in collaboration with the French government, began investigations to uncover the circumstances which led to the crash.
The plane, with 66 people on board heading from Paris to Cairo, disappeared off radar screens and plunged into the Mediterranean Sea early Thursday morning. (end) asm.hm
