Algerian 4-member family perished in EgyptAir plane crash — FM

ALGIERS, May 19 (KUNA) – The Algerian Foreign Ministry announced Thursday evening that a four-member family died when EgyptAir Flight 804 crashed into the Mediterranean Sea while heading from Paris to Cairo.
“Preliminary information, received from the French authorities, show that the four Algerians Nouha Saoudi and her husband Faycal Bettiche, and their two children Mohamed – two years, and Joumana – seven months, perished in the tragic accident,” spokesman of the ministry Abdelaziz Benali Cherif told reporters.
Cherif affirmed that the names of the four nationals are among the list of victims released by the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority, adding that the ministry is in contact with the Egyptian and French authorities over the tragedy. (end)
