Turkish retailer to sue pro-gov’t editor over ‘attack’ on Twitter

After a brief interruption in access in Turkey, the popular micro-blogging site Twitter went back online on Thursday.
The Handurriyet daily reported that their sources in the Information Technologies and Communications Authority (BTK) said there was no block put in place by Turkey.
Handurriyet also reported that the same problem was being experienced by several users across the world and the problem might be global. There was no announcement by Twitter on the issue.
