Turkey FM calls recent incident in Baku ‘terror’

Baku: Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu expressed his condolences regarding the terror attack took place in Baku’s Nardaran settlement on Nov.26 as a result of which two policemen were killed.

Turkey and Azerbaijan are jointly fighting against terrorism, said Cavusoglu on Friday at a press conference held after talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov in Baku.

“We will support Azerbaijan in this matter,” the FM said, noting that unfortunately, Turkey has an experience in this regard.

Cavusoglu said he hopes there will be no terror attacks both in Turkey and Azerbaijan in the future.
