Austrian theater company to premiere new play ‘Almanci’ in IstanbulAustria-based theater ensemble daskunstand#39s new play andldquoAlmanciandrdquo will have its world premiere this week in Istanbul at Turkish theater company Tiyatro Tatavlaand#39s performance venue, Tatavla SAHNE.andldquoAlmanciandrdquo will be performed on Friday at Tatavla SAHNE in Istanbuland#39s Cihangir neighborhood, the publicist of the event announced in a press release this week.

The one-act play recounts the stories of three people — Aycan, Alev and Danny — who have embarked on a journey to reach to the place they belong to or they feel they are a part of, and casts Alev Irmak, Daniel Keberle and Emre Akal.Written by Akal, andldquoAlmanciandrdquo is directed by AslI KIIlal, an Austria-based Turkish stage director who is also the founder and dramaturge of daskunst.

The play starts at 8:30 pm Tickets, priced TL 45 and TL 35 (for students), are available at www.biletix.

comTiyatro Tatavla was founded by stage actor and radio personality Eraslan SaIlam in 2013. The companyand#39s stage, Tatavla SAHNE, became active this September, and it also features performances by other ensembles that do not have their own performance venues.
