THY staff arrives in İstanbul

Turkish Airlines staff, who were rescued from the attack that was carried out in a luxury hotel in Malian capital city of Bamako on Nov. 20, returned to Turkey on Saturday. The airplane, carrying the staff, landed on Ataturk airport at midday hours.

The staff went to THY head office to meet their families.

As the staff went to their houses to rest, head of THY Temel Kotil made a statement.

“Our government made all the things to rescue the staff. We just waited. Our friends already had waited in their rooms in hotel. They have had no trouble. Thanks God not any other problems occurred. Our ambassadors in Bamako highly paid attention into the incident. We sent the airplane today and our friends have come,” said in his statement Kotil.
