Syrians en route to Europe detained in western Turkey

A group of Syrian refugees who were trying to reach Greece through illegal ways were detained by the security forces in the western province of Edirne on late Tuesday.

Huge numbers of Syrians who fled civil war in their country have reached Europe. Some prefer to reach Greece from Aegean Sea while some prefer to arrive in the country from Edirne. Despite tragedies killing dozens of people who attempted to reach Europe through illegal ways, more and more Syrians try cross into Europe.

Lastly, a group of 24 Syrians, including 14 children, were noticed by the locals at night. Arriving at the scene over the tip-offs, police detained the people. The refugees will be sent to the cities they received residence permit by the immigration directorate
