Six soldiers injured in bomb attack conducted by PKK in SE Turkey

Terrorists from the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) remotely detonated bomb they had planted beforehand which left six soldiers injured in the southeastern province of Mus on Monday.

The incident took place on Mus-Varto highway near Yedikavak village. Gendarmerie team was on a usual supervision at the time of the incident. The terrorists detonated the bombs while the vehicle carrying the soldiers was passing on the road. The vehicle fell into the ditch and six soldiers were injured.

The soldiers were taken to the Mus State Hospital for treatment by the paramedics. Paying a visit to the soldiers, Mus Governor Seddar Yavuz stated that the soldiers are in good condition.

Meanwhile, security forces launched a large scale operation in the area.
