Readiness of military units on frontline checked

Baku: Azerbaijani Defense Minister Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov has visited the military units along the frontline, APA reports quoting Defense Ministry’s website.

The Defense Minister checked sustainability of the front line, shooting possibilities of troops, condition of the facilities engineer, fortification engineering vehicles, material and technical supply for personnel in posts and positions, psychological state of personnel, full readiness of combat vehicles, ammunition and other facilities. Hasanov gave instructions to the troops to increase their vigilance, to pay more attention to operational readiness, to carry out combat missions exactly on time and under any circumstances, and also instructed to bring military equipment into a state of combat readiness. The minister took an interest in the care and service of the soldiers. At the end, the minister awarded a group of servicemen distinguished on the frontline with a short-term furlough.
