The Nigerian Automobile Technicians Association (NATA) says it will depend on best products for its members to ensure safety and enhanced productivity.

As such the association has concluded plans to enter into a tripartite partnership with two independent oil companies on end-use products.

National President of the association Comrade Michael Ajayi Omonayin told newsmen in Abuja yesterday that the independent oil companies who had proposed to the body on their products have satisfied the end users by producing quality engine oil in Nigeria.

Omonayin said the products of the companies can stand the test of time hence the agreement would be signed with them to encourage the products distribution among members across the country.

As the end users we must be favourably disposed to qualitative and available engine oil to service and maintain the millions of cars on Nigeria roads.

Managing Director of Premier Petroleum Limited, Mr Onuoha Obinna, however, said his firm has the second largest plant in Nigeria and would be glad to go into partnership with the association.

It would be recalled that the association is strategizing to provide technical know-how to its teaming members across the country, especially those that are presently undergoing mecha-tronics training by SURE-P.
