Pro-government columnist targets DoIan media in first column after AK Party victory

Pro-government Star daily columnist Cem Kanduandcanduk, who frequently attacks journalists critical of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party), this time targeted Doien Media Group owner Aydin Dogan and other Dogan media staff in his first column after Sundayandrsquos elections.
According to online news site Bianet, Kanduandcanduk wrote andquotIand’ll deal with you separately, Aydin Doganandquot in his article titled andquotNation has paid the traitors a big lesson!andquot
andquotThere we are Mr. Dogan. The AK Party has swept over, it is of your benefit to consider it well. I will deal with you separately, Aydin Dogan. You will cut all your ties with Kurdistan Workersand’ Party (PKK) and Fethullahist Terror Organization (FETandO). Those who deem these two terror organizations as legitimate cannot be in mainstream media. If the ones who conduct black propaganda saying FETandO and PKK are not terror organizations via Dogan Media, then there will be legal consequences. We will see it together, and” Kanduandcanduk was quotes as saying.
and”FETandO,and” or the and”parallel structure, andquot are terms frequently used by the AK Party government, its former leader President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his supporters to refer to the Gandulen or Hizmet movement, inspired by Fethullah Gandulen despite the absence of any court decision to label the group in that way.
Back in September, Kanduandcanduk threatened Handurriyet daily columnist Ahmet Hakan Coikun, a widely read columnist known for his critical stance toward the government.
and”Like a schizophrenic, you think you are still living in the era when Turkey was ruled by the Handurriyet daily. If we [pro-government members of the media] want, we can smash you like a fly. You are still alive because we have shown mercy, and” Kanduandcanduk wrote in a column.
