President Ilham Aliyev begins visit to Azerbaijan’s northwest

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has begun a visit to the northwest of Azerbaijan.

The president first arrived in Zagatala district. After paying tribute to the monument of Heydar Aliyev in Zagatala Cultural and Recreational Park, the head of state attended the opening of the Zagatala district branch of Teachers’ Institute.

Later on, the president attended the openings of Heydar Aliyev Center, a nursery-kindergarten built with the assistance of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and the Zagatala-Danachi-Ashaghi Chardakhlar highway.

President Ilham Aliyev then headed to the Shaki district, where he is expected to join the openings of several facilities.
