President Erdogan welcomed with official ceremony in Latvia

RIGA: President Recep Tayyip Erdogan who arrived in Latvia for an official visit was welcomed with an official ceremony in capital Riga.

The ceremony was held at House of Blackheads. Erdogan and his spouse Emine Erdogan were escorted by Latvian President Andris Berziņs and his spouse Dace Seisuma. National anthems of the two countries were recited and a group photo was taken during the event.

Erdogan and Berziņsare scheduled to hold a press conference following a tete-a-tete.

EU Minister Volkan Bozkır, Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Agriculture Minister Mehdi Eker and Culture and Tourism Minister Omer Celik accompany Erdogan during his visit.
