President Erdogan casts vote in parliamentary elections

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan cast his vote at a school in İstanbul’s Uskudar district in Turkish parliamentary elections.

Arriving at Saffet Cebi Secondary School with his spouse Emine Erdogan and daughter Sumeyye Erdogan, Erdogan spoke to the reporters after casting his vote.

“May this election be beneficial for our nation. Some 54 million voters are going to the ballot boxes today. This election was necessitated as a result of the instable outcome of the June 7 elections. It has become apparent how important stability is to our nation. All of us should respect the attitude of the national will.” Erdogan said.

Erdogan spoke with the people in front of the schools for a while and got on his vehicle saying he will follow the election results in İstanbul.
