‘Nothing will be the same’ says police officer to journalist

A police officer told the journalist Beyza Kural, the correspondent of Bianet news portal that and”nothing will be the same anymoreand” while handcuffing her during a protest against the Council of Higher Education (YandOK) organized by the students of Istanbul University on Friday afternoon.
During the protest, police used force against journalists and detained the Bianet correspondent, Beyza Kural, saying, and”Nothing will be the same anymore, and we are going to teach you that.and”
A group protesting against YandOK had begun to march from the Faculty of Science to Vezneciler Street, while chanting and carrying a banner with the slogan, and”The [Presidential] palace and YandOK will collapse, but not the youth.andquot Police did not allow the group to march with the banner, and it was only after the protesters had put down the banner that they were allowed to proceed down Vezneciler Street and chant their slogans.
A short while after the students had put down their banner, the police prevented the group from reaching the street. The police surrounded the protestors, struck them with their batons, used the tear gas and detained 23 students.
University students were handcuffed and laid face down on the ground by the police.
