New Deputy Defense Minister of Azerbaijan appointed – PHOTO

Baku: Rashad Suleymanov: Azerbaijani President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief signed an order on sending Deputy Defense Minister, Lieutenant-General Chingiz Mammadov to the reserve from Armed Forces.

Ch. Mammadov was sent from the Armed Forces to the reserve today, APA has revealed. Head of the IV Army Corps Lieutenant-General Karim Valiyev, was appointed the Deputy Defense Minister.

The Press Service of the Defense Ministry has confirmed the information to APA.

Lieutenant-General Karim Valiyev also served as a head of the Military Scientific Center of the Ministry of Defense and Commander of the first and fourth army corps.

Chingiz Mammadov, served as a deputy minister for a long time during former Defense Minister Safar Abiyev’s period and wrote a report to Zakir Hasanov on sending to the reserve at the end of the last year.
