Motorcycle accident leaves 1 dead in Ankara

Motorcycle, which got out of control, hit the bend and overturned in Turkish capital city of Ankara on Saturday. The man ejected from the motorcycle and lost his life at the scene.

The accident took place at around 03:00 a.m. on Ayas Street, nearby the Sincan interchange area. The 14 AR 790 plate of motorcycle, which en route to Yenikent from the city center, lost its control due to an unknown reason. The rider was drenched in blood after scattering around the road.

Over the report of the people around, police and ambulance were dispatched to the scene. 112 emergency service units determined that the driver Mahmut Nedim Eren ,24, had already died. Police units held inspection at the scene.

The funeral of Eren was sent to the morgue of the hospital. An investigation was launched into the incident.
