Man supporting Nardaran incidents inflict injury on policeman in Ganja

Baku: Arms were seized from a man supporting Nardaran incidents in Ganja.

Interior Minsitry’s press service told APA that on Nov. 26, police officers of Nizami (Ganja) District Police Office detained Ganja resident Sabir Aliyev, who made calls for supporting the Muslim Unity Movement regarding Nardaran incidents at the intersection of Tabriz and A.Mammadov streets. TT pistol, 8 cartridges, 1 cartridge clip and 3,215 grams of heroin were seized from him.

According to another statement issued by the Interior Ministry, on November 26, Ganja resident Ruzi Ismayilov went to Shah Abbas Mosque for supporting members of Muslim Unity Movement regarding Nardaran incident. In this regard, when Ismayilov was detained before his house, he injured a police officer of Ganja City Main Police Office, major Ogtay Orujov on his head with the grenade in his hand and attempted to blow it up.

Ismailov was detained and one F1, one RGD-5 grenade and 14 grams of heroin were seized from him.
