Man kills wife with pump rifle in Ankara

ANKARA: A woman was shot and killed by her husband with a pump rifle in Ankara on Monday.

The incident took place in the morning when Tugba Demir, 23, and Tamer Demir, 30, went to a park before, the woman left for work.

The two were speaking, an argument broke out and Tamer Demir shot his wife in the head with a pump rifle. Tugba Demir died at the scene and the man escaped the scene quickly.

The police have launched a detailed investigation into the incident.
