Kazakhstan’s Tenge becomes banknote of the year

ASTANA (CIHAN)- Tenge, Kazakhstan’s national currency was selected as the “Bank Note of the year 2013” by the International Bank Note Society (IBNS).

Speaking to Cihan News Agency, Kazakhstan National Bank’s official Joprmat Kajmuratov told that, IBNS has awarded 1000- Tenge note as “Bank Note of the Year of 2013.

This year 1000 –Tenge banknotes will receive its third first-place award from IBNS while in 2011 Kazakhstan’s 10.000- Tenge banknote and in 5000- Tenge banknote in 2012 were the bests of those years.

Kajmuratov stated that with engravings, transparent features, and special security and performance qualifications on it.
