INCA President: “The processes in the world lead us to face new challenges”

Baku: “The first Global Conference held by the International Network of Customs Universities in Baku is very important for us”, President of the International Network of Customs Universities (INCA) David Widdowson told journalists.

David Widdowson noted that if the talks are about customs development and trade facilitation, it’s also needed to speak about conduction of correct policy, gathering of information and transferring to decision-makers correctly: “As I’m an economist, I support attaching importance to the economic sides of this issues. We are always interested in poverty reduction. As this issue is always on the agenda of the European Union, new horizons are appeared. In order to reduce poverty, a monetary unity has been launched in this organization. The processes in the world lead us to face new challenged”.
