Governor apologizes for ’discriminatory’ remarks after handcuff scandal

Authorities on Friday declared a curfew in Nusaybin, a town in the southeastern province of Mardin.
The curfew is to go into effect as of 9 p.m. (7 p.m. GMT), the Dogan news agency reported.
The curfew in the area comes on the heels of one that has been in effect for 11 days in the town of Silvan in the southeastern province of Diyarbakir.
