General Staff shares footage showing first anniversary of Ataturk’s death

The footages, showing commemoration ceremony held in Ankara Ethnography Museum on November 10, 1939, just one year later since the modern Turkey’s founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk’s death, shared by Turkish General Staff.

In the one minutes and 39 second long footage, which was shared as part of the 77th anniversary of Ataturk’s death, is seen the visit paid to Ethnography Museum by President İsmet İnonu and a big crowd to commemorate Ataturk. In the museum, İnonu and his accompany paying their respect passing by the coffin of Ataturk.

In the same video it is also seen many people wait in the queue to enter the museum.

Meanwhile, the footage also reflects the vacant lands of Ankara nowadays filled with buildings.
