Footrace organized by Kizilay for needy people

Large numbers of people took part in a footrace which was held by Kizilay (Turkish Red Crescent) on Sunday as part of a campaign to collect aid for needy people.

The race was held in Ankara in the afternoon with the participation of Turkish national athletes such as Halil Mutlu. The race was divided into three editions. Donators competed in the first edition. Children, including disabled, also run in the event, which drew attention of the people.

Children who joined the race were given medals and certificates at the end of the run. Similar organizations were held in a number of countries to increase awareness of the people on the same day.
