When the fire could not be taken under control with the fire brigades several more crews were dispatched to the scene.

A total of 120 fire fighters worked hard to bring fire under control in two hours. At the end of the fire, 8,000 square meters of depot was completely destroyed.

Istanbul Governor Vasip Sahin arrived at the scene and told reporters no one was injured or died in the fire.
