Erdogan says Putin not returned his call

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke to France 24 after Turkey shot down a Russian plane for violating airspace on Tuesday.

Answering questions asked by Marc Perelman, Erdogan said Turkey and Russia have been experiencing a “cold” period diplomatically since Turkey downed Russian plane. “We do not want tensions with Russia” said president. Erdogan also said Turkey and Russia should discuss the incident but Putin has not returned his call yet.
