Decapitated corpse discovered in Manisa

Two corpses, one of which was decapitated, were found in the Aegean province of Manisa on Sunday. An animal reportedly uncovered the bodies of a man and a woman who had been buried in a shallow grave 15 kilometers outside Gandurle. A person who was out collecting mushrooms saw the bodies and reported it to the muhtar (local government official). According to the Dogan news agency, the male victim had been decapitated and his hands and feet were bound. An initial investigation by the gendarmerie indicated that the corpses are at least five months old they have now been transferred to the izmir Institute of Forensic Medicine for autopsy.
