DavutoIlu convenes with Russian FM Lavrov in Moscow

MOSKOVA (CIHAN)- Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet DavutoIlu and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov met in Moscow on Tuesday to discuss a range of processing foreign policy issues and crises in Ukraine.

Foreign policy chiefs of the both countries chaired a meeting held by the Joint Strategic Planning Group (JSPG), a sub-body of the High Level Cooperation Council that unites Black sea neighbors. Diplomatic sources report that apart from bilateral relations, Turkish and Russian delegations discussed several regional and international issues, particularly Iranian nuclear program and the situation in the South Caucasus in Central Asia and in the Balkans.
