Clashes ongoing in Turkey’s Cizre for three days

Security forces and the terrorist Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) have been engaging in clashes in the southeastern province of Sirnak’s Cizre district for the last three days.

Heavy weapons are reportedly being used by the soldiers during the clashes with the Patriotic Revolutionist Youth Movement (YDG-H), an affiliate of the PKK. The clashes escalated as of 5 a.m. in the town. Students, who were on way to school, had to return to their homes amid shoot.
