CHP leader warns about provocations on Gezi Park anniversary

ISTANBUL (CIHAN)- Leader of the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) Kemal KIlIdaroIlu claimed on Friday that the government may resort to some provocations to provoke people across the country.

After visiting the Turkish Public Workers’ Union (Turkiye Kamu-Sen), KIlIdaroIlu held a press meeting. He leader warned people on the anniversary of Gezi Park protests saying that the government may use some people as provocateurs during the demonstrations to trigger tension across the country.

“They provoke people. We do not want people who cover their face and kill our people. We want peace in our country. Every citizen should be careful about that provocation. No one should be deceived by the government,” said KIlIdaroIlu.
