Broke down bus causes tailbacks on metrobus lane

Long tailbacks formed when a bus, running Istanbul’s busy merobus lane, broke down in Sirinevler bus stop in the morning hours of Monday. Traffic turned to normal after the bus was pulled by a tow truck.

The incident took place when a bus broke down while approaching to Sirinevler station in the morning hours. Coupling with the rush hours, a long bus queue formed across the metrobus lane which turned the passengers’ fuss into a nightmare.

After taking some measures on the line the metrobus traffic was provided by single lane.

Traffic flows turned to normal after the bus was pulled from the lane.
