Brazil’s Rousseff is re-elected in presidential race

Current President of Brazil Dilma Rousseff was re-elected by a narrow margin in the second round of the presidential election.

According to the unofficial results, Rousseff received 51, 64 percent of the votes while the other candidate Aecio Neves got 48,36 percent. A candidate from the Workers’ Party, Rousseff will be in on duty for the next four years.

During the camping, Rousseff was criticized since significant officials from her party were involved in corruption allegations. After being elected, she made a speech saying that she fight against corruption will be reinforced and new measures will be introduced for transparency and supervision.
