Azerbaijani president meets with Georgian PM

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Friday met with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili in Tbilisi.

The parties discussed issues of strategic partnership and cooperation as well as jointly implemented energy and economic projects, expressing their mutual willingness to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.

Cooperation in investment issues too was touched upon during the meeting.

The Georgian PM congratulated Azerbaijan’s head of state on the New Azerbaijan Party’s win in the parliamentary elections. He wished the Azerbaijani people peace, stability, and prosperity.
