Azerbaijani parliament set to create 4 new committees, rename 3 others

Baku: There is a bill in the Azerbaijani Parliament on the creation of four new committees – Committee on Health, Committee on women and children affairs, Committee on Youth and Sports, Committee on Public Unions and Religious Organizations, according to information obtained by APA.

Furthermore, the Committee on Security and Defense Issues will be renamed the Committee on Defense, Security and Anti-Corruption, the Economic Policy Committee will be renamed the Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship, and the Social Policy Committee will be renamed the Labor and Social Policy Committee.

Consequently, 16 committees will be operating in the 5th convocation parliament.
