Azerbaijani minister of emergency situations meets with Georgian interior minister

Baku: Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations Kemaleddin Heydarov met with a delegation led by Interior Minister of Georgia Giorgi Mgebrishvili on November 26.

The minister thoroughly informed the guest about the work done for the prevention of emergency situations in the country and elimination of their consequences. He also spoke about the activities of the ministry’s agencies, noting the successful development of relations between both ministries.

Giorgi Mgebrishvili in turn congratulated the Azerbaijani minister on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The interior minister underlined the importance of further enhancing relations between the relevant agencies of Azerbaijan and Georgia on emergency management.

Moreover, the sides exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest.

The delegation familiarized themselves with crisis management and operating rooms of the Crisis Management Center of the ministry.
