Azerbaijan, UAE ties considered

Azerbaijan`s Interior Minister, colonel-general Ramil Usubov has met ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Salem Khalifa Al Ghafli.

Usubov said the UAE was one of the first countries to recognize Azerbaijan`s independence, AzerTag state news agency reported.

Noting that the United Arab Emirates had always supported Azerbaijan within international organizations, he said bilateral relations between the two countries had also been developing successfully.

Usubov highlighted activities of the ministry, as well as reforms carried out in the country. He noted that advantageous conditions were created to attract foreign capital investment.

The minister said Azerbaijan was interested in developing relations between the two countries` relevant authorities, adding this meeting would contribute to boosting cooperation even further.

Salem Khalifa Al Ghafli, in turn, praised security and stability in all regions of Azerbaijan and in Baku.

The diplomat said he would spare no efforts to contribute to deepening bilateral ties between the two countries.
