Azerbaijan to develop low-cost packages for foreign tourists

Baku: The Ministry of Culture and Tourism and “Azerbaijani Airlines” Close Joint Stock Company have created a Working Group.

The ministry’s information and public relations department told APA that the working group held its first meeting, discussed several issues and agreed on joint activity in 2016.

According to the agreement, proper low-cost tour packages will be developed, implemented and promoted within the framework of the joint activity taking into account the specification of the countries that the “Azerbaijani Airlines” CJSC implemented direct flight for their citizens, travel tendencies of the tourists, their decision-making features, and the weekends and holidays of the selected country.

Representatives of both organizations in a number of foreign countries will jointly use the opportunities, more than 20 familiarization visits of representatives of the tourism industry and media of countries that are priorities for Azerbaijan in terms of tourist arrival in 2016 will be jointly carried out to our country.

They also discussed the implementation of above-mentioned activities in the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Turkey, the UK, Germany, France, Italy, USA, Israel, China and the Gulf countries. Culture and Tourism Ministry and the “Azerbaijan Airlines” Closed Joint-Stock Company are planning to sign a document on implementation of a joint action plan for 2016 in the near future.
