Azerbaijan not to finance projects of foreign NGOs in 2016

Baku: The Council of State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the auspices of the Azerbaijani President is not going to appeal to the government to allocate funds from the state budget to finance the projects of foreign NGOs in 2016, the Council chairman Azay Guliyev said on Nov.26.

The funds allocated to finance the projects of foreign NGOs in 2013-2014 were saved, Guliyev said.

“1,927,788 manats were saved on account of the Council for use in subsequent years. Therefore we are not going to appeal to the government in this regard,” he added.
