Azerbaijan, Iran discuss expansion of cooperation in emergency management

Baku: Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan Kemaleddin Heydarov has received Deputy Interior Minister and head of Iranian Disaster Management Organization Ismail Najjar who arrived in Azerbaijan to observe the “Caspian-2015” command and staff drills held on the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the ministry held on November 25.

Heydarov expressed his gratitude to Ismail Najjar for his visit to watch the command and staff drills. He praised the cooperation between the two friendly and neighboring countries in prevention of emergency situations and elimination of its consequences.

Ismail Najjar expressed his gratitude for the reception and invitation for observing successfully held “Caspian-2015” command and staff drills. He also expressed confidence for further expansion of cooperation between the Iranian Disaster Management Organization and the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The sides further exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest.
