Azerbaijan increases transportation via main gas and oil pipelines

Baku: Economics. In January-April, 2014, Azerbaijan transported 15.5 mln tonnes of oil via main pipelines, up 10.2% from previous year.

¾ (11.7 mln tonnes of oil) of transportation has been carried out via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline. At the same time, 1.8 mln tonnes of Turkmen oil have been transported via BTC through Sangachal terminal.

During the same period, 7.8 bcm of gas was transported via main gas pipelines, up 12.1% in comparison to a year earlier. 27.7% (2.2 bcm of gas) has been transported via Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum South Caucasus pipeline.
