Baku: Armenian families from Syria are given apartments in the Khanliq village of Gubadli region.

According to press service of the Public Association “Organization of the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments in the Occupied Territories of Azerbaijan”, the Director of “Tufenkian Benevolent Fund” Andranik Gasparyan said that the Armenian government is interested in settlement of Armenian refugees from Syria in the administrative settlements of the regions of Lachin, Zangilan, Jabrayil, and Gubadli. Every year, a great deal of money is transferred to the foundation’s account for this purpose.

Gasparyan also said that a 12-apartment building was put into use this year in the Khanliq village of Gubadli: “Orders and symbolic keys of these apartments have lately been presented to Syrian refugees. The refugees living here have also been provided with jobs”.
