ADA University and Turkish Giresun University have signed a memorandum of cooperation that will see the two higher educational institutions build and expand academic and cultural relations.

The universities agreed to exchange teachers and students, conduct joint research projects, arrange joint scientific conferences, forums, cultural events and summer programs, and carry out distant learning programs.

The memorandum was signed by ADA University Rector Hafiz Pashayev and Rector of Giresun University Aygun Attar.

Founded by the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry and chartered by a Presidential decree, ADA University is dedicated to preparing innovative global leaders and to promoting useful collaborative research on diplomacy, public and international affairs, business, humanities and sciences, information technologies and system engineering.

ADA opened its doors to students in January 2007 and moved to its permanent “green” and “smart” campus in downtown Baku, in September of 2012.
