39 Turks to be deported from Russia

Thirty-nine Turkish nationals, who arrived in Russian a business fair in Krasnodar, will be deported to Turkey on the grounds that they violated immigration laws on Thursday.

The businessmen who entered country with tourist visa will pay 30-75 dollars fine and they will be sent back to Turkey. According to Vardan Ter-Sahakyan, deputy head of Immigration Office of Russia Federation, they businessmen entered Russia with commercial aims, which necessitate appropriate visa rather than tourist visa.

Speaking to a Russian TV, one of the businessmen named Baris Hakan said they were asked for what purpose they came to Russia and they replied they came to attend a fair. When Hakan and other businessmen asked which section they are supposed to mark on the paper they told to write “tourist”, said Hakan.
