157 students hospitalized after food poisoning incident in MuIla

A total of 157 students were hospitalized in the Datandca, Ula and Yataian districts of the province of Muila on Wednesday evening after eating a meal provided at their schools.
After several students were admitted to nearby hospitals with symptoms that indicated food poisoning, the Muila Governorand’s Office released a statement. It said an investigation was being carried out in coordination with the Muila Public Health Center and samples were taken from the food which was served to the children.
The governorand’s office also said those with the symptoms were not in critical condition and most of had been were treated and discharged.
and”The analysis of the samples [taken from the food] is being carried out by the relevant institutions. If there are any faulty parties involved in the incident, the necessary administrative and criminal actions will immediately be taken,and” the statement concluded.
